I have finally created another show. It feels so good to have those paintings stop mocking me. I have my TV in the studio, so it was pretty hard to ignore them. I sprained my ankle a year ago and began painting up a storm. I lost the thunder shortly thereafter, and so for a year or so I was dormant.
But now I'm back!
And I've not only switched to a new medium (oils), but have also developed my style a lot more.
And I'm having dreams of paintings. I saw one, completed, in my dream. I'm going to get on it. I had a friend staying in my studio/TV room/guest bedroom, so I thought it would be RUDE to start painting in oils where she was sleeping.
I've begun painting with a palette knife too. How exciting what comes out of that! I'll be done with that very soon, and will post it.
I love it when I'm hot! Hate it when I'm not! I guess when I just decide to be consistent I'll be "Normal". Ha ha! What a concept!

I looked at my homepage and was shocked to see all these comments on it!
Your gallery is very sweet. Your art looks like illustrations for books.

Your work reminds me so of, Beryl Cook. By every piece telling a story.

I hope you get in touch with Mme. Laura. She could possibly give you some good networking.
Hope your holidays are glowing brightly!
Hugs,

I like your work. You have your own distinct style, and I love the humor, though I'm more of a tea-person.
